Darting Intel Performance

Performance of Intel in 2011 and outstanding. This processor manufacturer managed to record revenues and profits higher than in previous years although affected by flooding inThailand.


Intel reported that its earnings surged 24 percent to 54 billion U.S. dollars during 2011.Meanwhile, net profit rose by 12.9 percent to 12.9 billion U.S. dollars. With this performance, Intel's earnings per share rose by 19 percent to 2.39 dollars.

Intel's earnings surged after the acquisition of McAfee and Infineon. When calculatedwithout acquisition, revenue company based in Santa Clara, California is only increased by 15.6 percent.

Intel's own performance had declined in the fourth quarter due to massive flooding that hitThailand. In the period September to December 2011's, Intel's net income rose only by 6percent to 3.4 billion U.S. dollars.
